Our Fitness Centre is available to all of our members 13 years and older. The facility is equipped with Woodway treadmills, Cybex bikes and Arc Trainers as well as a Jacobb’s Ladder and climbing wall. The free weight area boasts a Star Track smith machine, Atlantis max rack and dumbbells up to 100 pounds. Kettlebells, stability, bosu and medicine balls are also available in our functional stretch area. Every member is encouraged to participate in a Fitness Centre orientation. Young members, 13 to 15 years old, are required to participate in a Teen Orientation that introduces appropriate and safe weight training techniques and fitness centre etiquette.
Step-it-up with Personal Training. Working with a YMCA Trainer will allow you to develop realistic goals, safe and effective workouts and the ability to push yourself to your limits. A trainer will help you learn safe and effective exercise techniques and stay motivated for the long term. Whether you want to reduce body fat, gain muscle or improve your energy level, a trainer will create a program for you to meet your individual needs and goals.
